We are a Unitarian Universalist community with deep roots in West Hartford, working to build a world that is more loving and just for all people.
Throughout the year our friendly, active congregation participates in a wide range of activities, developing meaningful connections with each other and the world around us. We celebrate diversity and we welcome and affirm all people. If you are on a spiritual journey, if you seek to make a positive impact on the world around you, or if you wish to find larger meaning in your life, there is a place for you here.
Our church staff welcomes you! Front row, L-R: Amanda, Congregational Administrator; Ted, Director of Music; Tai, Social Action Coordinator. Back Row, L-R: Rev. Our one-hour worship service typically includes music, readings, a time for prayer and meditation, and a sermon. Our wide-ranging topics and music make each service unique.
Childcare is available for babies and toddlers. Older children attend church school classes from September through May.
A lively Fellowship Hour follows the service. Follow the signs to Fiske Hall for coffee and conversation.
We believe that learning is a lifelong pursuit – and a critical piece of what makes us Unitarian Universalists. Throughout the year a variety of educational programs are offered, including book groups, classes, films and more.
