Join us for an evening of good friends, food & music – for a good cause!

It’s our biggest fundraiser of the year – and it’s a party you won’t want to miss. Enjoy delicious food from local restaurants, a Sangria cart, and live music by the band Meetinghouse…along with live and silent auctions of services, experiences, and new items that members have donated. All proceeds benefit our church, providing important funding for yearlong operations.  Please come and enjoy the evening!

DONATE AUCTION ITEMS: 

This year, we’re focusing on Service and Experience donations. Please consider donating a rich experience! What talent might you be able to offer? Perhaps you are connected to a business or arts venue that could donate tickets, products or services?

Some of the extraordinary donations in the past have included tours of special sites, stays at vacation/summer homes, and wonderful learning opportunities. Services can include dinners at your home, lessons in areas of expertise, rides to the airport, and more.

We will have tangible items too, on a limited basis. We can accept only new items, with values of $30 or more. Donations are desired in the following categories:

EDIBLES: hosting group dinners, baked goods, gift cards for restaurants, etc.

BLING: jewelry or home décor items

ART: original artworks

LEARNING: educational seminars, workshops, lessons, tutoring

ENTERTAINMENT: tickets to entertainment venues, group outings

MISC. SERVICES: babysitting, rides, other

GETAWAYS: vacation homes or special excursions

It takes a village to ensure successful auctions. Use your creativity!

Donation forms must be received by May 28 so the volunteers have time to set up our checkout system and create the auction displays. Forms are also available at the church on the bulletin boards outside the Program Center and in Fiske Hall, or request a form at auction@westhartforduu.org.

If you are donating a physical item or you have any materials to display with your item, please contact us to confirm the time and place for drop-off.

PURCHASE TICKETS:

The ticket price is $30, which includes appetizers and your first beverage. Tickets are available online and at Fellowship Hour until June 5. To purchase online, click the button below and choose “Give to: Auction Tickets.”  Your tickets will be waiting for you when you arrive at the party.
