Ellen Brown has practiced yoga most of her adult life. After a corporate career as an attorney and human resources executive, Ellen pursued yoga teacher training at Kripalu in Lenox, MA. There she discovered a love of teaching and sharing this ancient practice with others. "Kripalu" in Hindi means compassion and Ellen weaves compassion for self and others into her teaching. She has taught at our church for almost five years as well as at the Mandell Jewish Community Center and Town of Newington.
Veronica Vaida has had a lifelong commitment to yoga and has been a teacher for over 15 years. With a Masters in English Literature, Veronica worked for Macmillan publishing company and taught ESL at Westchester Community College, before transitioning into reflexology and teaching yoga. She moved to West Hartford five years ago to be closer to family. Veronica is a graduate of the Sivananda Yoga Center - the oldest yoga school in the U.S.
